Friend
I am heartbroken that I cannot be here in person, but it is nothing compared to the anguish of losing my dear friend James.
I take comfort in the fact that James lived his life exactly as he wanted. Had he known from the outset his life were to be cut short, I don't think he would have done anything differently. He was the rare man among us with no regrets. He made the best of his much too short time on this Earth. This is something we can all learn from.
As painful as it is to lose someone we love, we are all better off having known James.
